On may 20th, 1994 JUSIMED was founded. A cardiology distributor in the first place, the company started selling implantable medical devices shortly afterwards, thanks to a partnership with the german Aesculap.
The areas of trauma, spine and arthroplasty were covered on the very next year.
The line of action was expanded once again in 2001, with the additions of neurologic and craniofacial surgery. It was also the year that we became the first south Brazilian company to receive the RDC 59/2000 (currently RDC 16/2013) certificate, which proves the quality and safety of medical devices distribution.
The B. Braun partnership started in 2006, distributing their centennial sutures (produced since 1908!). 2012 was the year of other division to be added: OPM (Out Patient Market), with the special dressings. In 2016 other one joined the team: The Ostomy Care line.
We were part of the group of companies that, in 2015, elaborated the Sectoral agreement on combating corruption in health, which created the ÉTICA SAÚDE institute.
